Bliss List
You guys, today is National Best Friends Day – could there be a sweeter holiday worth celebrating?! I don’t think so. I feel so fortunate to be surrounded by many incredible people that I am privileged to call friends.

Dare we say spring may finally have sprung?! We’re finally seeing warmer temperatures and sunny blue skies.. We’ve been anxiously awaiting spring fashion for months now but soon we’ll be able to snip off the tags and free our new purchases from their hangers.
You guys, its Friday and its June 1st! Where is the time going?! We have so much fun stuff going on right now (I know, I know, I promise I’ll be sharing more details soon) that I’m seriously baffled how we’re half way through 2018 already! Craig and I are currently preparing to head to San Francisco as I’m (excitedly!!) attending a Pinterest conference being held there.
We just finished the loveliest four-day week following our long weekend and guess what? We’re ready to do it all over again this weekend! As I’ve mentioned in the past, our week days tend to be a bit of a whirlwind as we juggle two kids (it often feels like three with Gatsby – ha!), but whose aren’t, am I right?!
We can practically hear the bells of St. George’s chapel ringing and we’re eagerly counting down the days until we can indulge in our favourite fairy tale romance as Prince Harry marries (former actress and all-American “it-girl”) Meghan Markle. If you’re just as invested in their love story as we are, and have plans to gather your gal pals for a royal wedding viewing party, why not host a modern day high tea?!
Here in Canada it’s the first long-weekend of the warm weather season and I don’t think we could be any more thrilled about it!
We’re just going to go ahead and say it; this mother’s day post is really for all the dads out there. If you suspect your husband could use some pointers, just go ahead and send him a link to this post because we’re about to break it down. You can both thank us later.
Thank you for subscribing!
I’m writing this week’s Bliss List from home after being away for back-to-back travel. And I’ve got to say, as much as I love adventures, travelling, and the new opportunities that can come, there truly is no place like home.
Roxanne is thirty today – and we’re wishing her the happiest of birthdays! In celebration of her birthday, we sat down with Roxanne and asked her 30 questions, many of which had been submitted by readers, for this fun post! We’re excited for all of you to get to know the beauty behind the blog as she answers everything we were dying to ask.
Mother’s day is right around the corner and we have a sweet (yet simple) little project that would make for the most precious gift. I’m sure most of us haven’t thought about making our moms a present since grade school, but let us assure you that moms never grow tired of homemade gifts from the heart.
This is the last Friday I’ll be spending in my twenties; on Tuesday I celebrate my 30th birthday – eeekkk!
Mother’s Day is a little less than two weeks away (Sunday May 13th) and we can’t stop day dreaming about how we’d like to be pampered. While most of us would probably be content with a good night’s sleep, drinking a coffee while it’s hot, and an uninterrupted bathroom break, we’ve collected some of our favourite things (and items from our own wish lists) to share with all of you.
I am really excited to introduce another new series to the blog today – Bedtime Stories. If you’re a longtime reader you already know that we’re a family of book worms (just take a peek at our library wall!) and that reading is part of our everyday. Our nightly routine, which of course includes bedtime stories, is one of the only predictable parts of our day (and truly my favourite).
Join us today as we tour the beautiful Princess Margaret Early Bird Cottage prize in the Kawarthas.
