Pearadise on West Lake

Want to stay at a vacation rental with its very own pear orchard? Of course you do! So did we…

Last month we experienced The Pearadise on West Lake rental in The County, the region of Prince Edward County. We went with friends and had such a blast! This vacation home is right on the waterfront, the landscape and ambience makes you feel like you’ve stepped into the Carolinas, right into a Nicholas Sparks novel. It is so calm and full of wildlife and you feel immersed into nature while also enjoying the luxury of a cozy, beautifully decorated home. Pearadise on West Lake has a pool, a beautiful large property and the home has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, with a total of 7 beds so you can fit a large family (or two).

This vacation home is so perfect for families with kids in my opinion. The upstairs is decorated beautifully, very cozy and clean. There’s even a fun retro record player upstairs for music enthusiasts, a great big table for dining or board games, and a fireplace to cuddle up in front of during movie night. The basement is fully set up with kids toys and games too!

The kiddos were so excited to get some fishing in!
Monopoly was a favourite during our visit!

Not only are the grounds magical at this rental, we of course ventured off to a few of our favourite places in the area. There is a wonderful bike trail in the area called The Millenium Rail Trail, all of us went for a long bike ride and enjoyed such great scenery. There are a variety of spots to park and hop onto the trail with your bikes!

Parsons Brewery being another one of our stops of course, it is just so great to relax and enjoy a conversation and a good meal while your kiddos play. Another great spot if you are looking for organic gluten free goodies is a spot called The Good Place {153 Main Street, Wellington}, we stopped there before hitting The Sandbanks Provincial Park and had some delicious breakfast sandwiches and took some fresh muffins to go. If you haven’t been to the beautiful Sandbanks, learn more about the park {here}.

We also took a quick 5 minute drive to the local park, grabbed ice cream and were also lucky enough to be there for live music in the park.

This was such a fun trip to the County and we highly recommend The Pearadise vacation home for your next visit, learn more about it {here}!
