Travel Guide: Rhode Island

Back in October we took a family trip to Rhode Island along our drive back to Canada from Vermont. The drive was beautiful and we were so lucky with the weather. We stayed for 5 nights in a beautiful, waterfront vacation home with the most stunning views. It was our first time in this area with the kiddos and I’m so excited to share our experience with you on the blog!

We stayed at this magical coast cottage, we fell asleep to the most beautiful skies and woke up to stunning sunrises too! You can check out the rental {here}. This vacation rental has such a beautiful coastal vibe, has comfy beds and a cozy living room for cuddling up to watch a movie. We were able to SUP board, kayak as well as go fishing every day which was super fun! During our stay we carved pumpkins, explored the area and nearby lighthouses, had a barbecue and lit sparklers under the stars, watched a couple of movies and also relaxed as a family with some great books. Being so close to the water is always very calming for us and healing.

The kitchen in this rental had everything we needed to prep our favourite meals but we also ventured out to try local restaurants and we shared some of our stops further down in this blog post with addresses.

I highly recommend this rental if you are interested in checking it out during a vacation or trip to Rhode Island, the rental is beautiful and the host is such a great person!
