AUTUMN ORCHARDS

Yellow Raincoats | Hunter Boots | Beanies | Chambray Hoodie | Croissant Teether | Chunky Knit Throw

Last year we visited this organic orchard about a week before I delivered Noah, maybe even days before. I told myself we would bring both of the kids back the following year since it was such a fun activity to do with kids and we are lucky enough to have an organic orchard nearby. This day was a cold one so we didn’t stay long but it was great for the kids to enjoy some fresh air and enjoy healthy snacks they picked themselves + we needed apples for baking pie! I am sharing a delicious & easy pie recipe on the blog this week that your toddler can help you make if you are looking for a fun activity to do together. Ella enjoyed helping me make pies when we got home after the orchard, she is proving to be quite the little chef in the kitchen – always wanting to help bake or whisk ingredients. Head out to your local orchards if you have the chance this fall after picking up a nice warm beverage! With or without kids it’s a great way to spend some quality time outside and in the kitchen, if you aren’t into apple pies you could always try out some cider or apple sauce recipes! Do you have any favourite recipes for the fall you’d like to share? xo
