#wedding wednesdays

Well the nerves have kicked into overdrive, we are days away from being 4 weeks from the wedding! I cannot believe how fast this has all gone by and I am so sorry I missed last weeks post, it has been a little (A LOT) crazy around here. When I tell you it was crazy for us to do the wedding thang after kids, I wasn’t kidding you. So about that wedding stuff, I am so so so very excited to start sharing some dress details with you all!!!!! When I started my dress search after some post baby #2 weightless I knew I wanted to have the Kleinfeld experience when picking THE dress as they carried every designer that caught my eye since well before we were even engaged and talking wedding, I have always been drawn to styles by Reem Acra & Hayley Paige but I really wanted to work with a Canadian designer. The lovely team at Kleinfeld Hudson’s Bay helped me to find the PERFECT dress for our big day while being so mindful of the fact that I had just had a second baby and wasn’t feeling exactly, well – fabulous at the time. They were patient while I tried on a variety of styles, showed them my Pinterest picks and genuinely listened when I explained the parts of my figure I was confident about and not so confident about. I am SO in love with my dress and I cannot wait for you all to see it…at the wedding of course! In the coming weeks I will be giving you guys some teasers as to which designer I picked for my dress and we will actually be giving you a behind the scenes peak at this designer & more fun stuff.
If you are in the area and looking for the real deal bridal experience when picking your gown I totally recommend the Kleinfeld experience, you can learn more about what to expect here on your visit.
This weekend I actually headed back to Kleinfelds for an adorable event with the lovely duo Social Common celebrating the Kleinfeld Pink flower girl line of dresses…totally swoon worthy!!! We watched a precious fashion show, enjoyed some lovely sweets by Petite and Sweet and the Crown Flora studio made our littles some beautiful floral crowns. I am still in awe of just how beautiful it all was and it was so much fun to go to an event with my Ella, her and I dressed in matching tulle and all day she was saying we were princesses – teary eyed over here! I wore the Ashley skirt by Blisstulle paired with my favourite Kate Spade cardigan. It was an entire day full of smiles and laughter…and a lot of shopping.  So for this weeks #weddingwednesday I am sharing my favourite dresses from the Kleinfeld Pink line and some snap shots of our wonderful day, I’d love to know what your favourite dress is of the bunch?
