Bliss List

I am so excited for this weeks Bliss List you guys!!!! I have spent almost 2 months waiting to share some of these with you, especially #1!! This week has been nothing short of a beautiful chaos, tis the season right? Wrapping is in full force around here as is the hibernating and binge eating (speaking personally lol). Lately I just want to snuggle up in a blanket and watch Christmas movies while stuffing my face! We are in a snow globe in Ontario and had 15cm of snow last night but as cold as it is, it looks like pure magic outside! We are looking forward to some tobogganing this weekend as well as a big surprise for the kiddos, stay tuned on my Instagram stories this weekend to follow along.

ONE

Festive decals!!!! I have been itching to do this for YEARS guys and when I was planning our decor for this year I knew I had to connect with my friends over at Wow Home Decor to create some decals for us. You may remember that they did the decals for Ella’s big girl room in our last house as well as Noah’s nursery {here}. Their decals are always the best of quality, they can do custom and the shipping if super quick. PS – these do not ruin any of your paint and are easy to install! I measured our steps and worked inwards after marking the middle, it took my a couple of hours to finish (because I am a perfectionist). What do you guys think? They’ve been so generous and are letting me share an exclusive discount code with our readers for their ENTIRE SHOP!!!! Use code ROXANNE20 for 20% on any thing and every thing in their shop, this is the perfect time to get any decals you’ve had your eye on for your next decor project! Decals aren’t only perfect for walls, as you can see they are great for steps (perhaps your favourite motivational quote or family quote) and they are great for shop windows or doors too. Click over to Wow Home Decor’s shop {HERE}, there’s still time to snag some festive decals before Christmas!

TWO

Do you do an advent calendar during the holidays with your littles? This year we teamed up with INDIGO Chapters to do a reading advent with our kids. It has been nothing short of magic, I am so thankful our kids love reading as much as I do! I think that is something they learn from us, so far we’ve opened 7 really great books and on Boxing day here on the blog, I will be sharing all 25 books with you (we are giving them one Christmas day as well)! I will link to each book and give you a little breakdown on it with what our thoughts were and age recommendations, we’ve already opened such a variety of them. Books about planets & space, about animals and adventures – we can’t wait to share each of them with you! Today I thought I would include my favourite out of the 7 so far in case you are looking for a new book for your little one this Christmas. Franklin’s Flying bookshop, it’s absolutely ADORABLE with beautiful imagery!!!!! You can click {here} to find it and it’s on sale! Please let us know if you do end up picking it up and what your son or daughter thought of it. We’d love to know!

THREE

I am super swooning over this beautiful home tour on Domino! This beautiful home belongs to Mariam Naficy, founder and CEO of Minted, one of our favourite places to shop for art pieces. Her home is so full of character and the best natural light, click {here} to see the full piece, her record collection and outdoor space has my heart!

FOUR

Have you finished all of your shopping for your little one? I just ordered a KiwiCo subscription for my niece and nephew and I am SO excited, don’t tell them haha!  KiwiCo is a monthly subscription crate that comes filled with age appropriate STEM projects for kids, from toddlers to teenagers. Every crate explores a different theme designed to spark creativity, thinking, and learning. These crates are awesome, they’re made by educators, engineers and rocket scientists – yes, you read that right! I wish I was the perfect Pinterest mom, but let’s be honest, I don’t always have time for all of the prep.  KiwiCo does all of the hard work (thinking of the project, getting all of the materials) and leave the fun part for me to do with the kiddos! I knew the kids would appreciate it, and my sister in law too!

The crates come right to your front door every month, I love that these are educational gifts that give the kids a hands on learning experience vs a toy they will fawn over for a few seconds before moving on. It’s something that can do together with family and they’re perfect for the upcoming school breaks!

I managed to snag you guys an AMAZING exclusive promo where you get to try a KiwiCo subscription for free, you only cover the shipping! Click {HERE} to use our exclusive link to get the promotion, I am so excited for every one who gets to try this out with their littles – we love science around here so we’re hooked!
