Outdoor Dining with Bed Bath & Beyond

Outdoor Dining with Bed Bath & Beyond Decor DIY Living Uncatagorized
Where do I even start in this post? I am so proud of how this outdoor dining set up turned out with Bed, Bath & Beyond – we couldn’t have asked for better weather and I couldn’t have asked for better friends to help me make it happen! My friend Alex and my friend & blogger Amy Marcelli created this beautiful set with me. We all got together bright and early and sipped coffee while planning our diy Kate Spade bow napkins with these lovely sharp green Larabee dot napkins that I absolutely loooveeee. I am always finding the most beautiful outdoor dining pieces from Bed, Bath & Beyond and it helps that they carry one of my favourite brands for oh, almost every thing…Kate Spade. So naturally when planning this fun outdoor dining day in partnership with Bed, Bath & Beyond I knew I would be incorporating lemon & stripes into the decor, et voila! We started the space with this lovely Sicily navy and floral outdoor rug with pops of yellow (a super popular colour this year) and paired it with this beautiful Eucalyptus Wood Umbrella and this gorgeous Acacia Wood Saddle table – I love beautiful warm wood outdoor patio sets and this one is so perfect in person. I knew the Kate Spade Lemon Melamine Dinnerware Collection mixed in with the Kate Spade New York Raise a Glass Melamine Dinnerware Collection would pop on this table on these hyacinth placemats – there is something about hyacinth placemats, they just work with every thing in my opinion. If you are going to invest in any thing for table decor I totally suggest these and they are only $6,99 each!

And I mean we have to talk about the super cute tid bit Kate Spade side plates, yes the ones in the photos with the adorable sayings like “pull up a chair” and “what a spread – they are perfect and if you use them while outside dining with the kids you don’t have to worry about them dropping and smashing to smithereens – something that is always important to me when picking outdoor dinnerware. I of course had to finalize my self created set with the Kate Spade Raise a Glass Acrylic Highball Glasses set, they were a perfect outdoor friendly glass to fill with our frozen mimosas but that the entire family can use too at any other time! You can shop those highball glasses here.

Now, I can’t be the only lemon obsessed gal out there – there was been a beautiful and natural decor element in the kitchen and dining spaces for a long time and I wanted to expand on that themed beyond just the beautiful Kate Spade dinner bowls which is where I included these lovely outdoor lemon pillows I found. They come in 2 different sizes and are super cute, I ordered 6 so that we could have one for each of the chairs. As you can see we mixed up our chairs, so 2 arms chairs and 4 fold up ones to save space. Since we were wanting to throw a really pretty dinner party with the girls we didn’t want to overcrowd the table, I had picked up a cute bamboo serving tray with a net lid to keep the bugs out which would hold our mixture of desserts on the table and a cake platter for our diy doughnut cake I knew I didn’t want our Mimosa mixture or champagne sitting on the table too, we last minute I picked up this great steel tub ice bucket on a stand. It’s great to fill with ice and serve pretty drinks or even cold food in and even your hubby can appreciate it for a football night with some beer on ice! It’s $99 dollars but with the 20% coupon for Bed, Bath & Beyond that always comes in the mail flyers or online you’d only be paying $79. Well worth it for me, and you don’t have to use the stand if you don’t want to – get creative!

Speaking of getting creative, what did you guys think of the diy bow napkins we did with the braided rope napkin rings? My best friend Alex had so much fun making them, she is so creative and whenever I have fun projects like this I know she can help me bring my ideas to fruition! During my behind the scenes stories on Instagram you were all asking for a tutorial on how to make these and we will 100% be doing a tutorial for you guys, pinky promise! We also have a handful of recipes to share with you from this day of delish outdoor dining, a frozen mimosa recipe, lemon & herb shrimp kebabs, mediterranean pizza and a YUMMY smoked barbecue tofu bowl!

Those recipes and the bow napkin tutorial will be on the blog soon but for now I would love to know what you guys think of our outdoor set up with Bed, Bath & Beyond and if you want us to share our lemon sugar doughnut recipe with you. We partnered with them to create this inspo for you and all opinions are my own!
