Dyson Cord-Free Vaccuu | Our Pj’s & Robes : Joe Fresh | Our Scrunchies: Shop Chelsea King on Etsy

This post has been one I’ve been super excited for, when I was thinking of ways of how I wanted to show you guys this product and it’s use behind-the-scenes with my family I pictured it exactly like this. As you guys know I take most of my own photos but I was finding it so tough when wanting pictures with me in them!!! Craig works full time as an engineer and when he comes home he just wants to be my husband and a dad, he isn’t “into” taking pictures all of the time and I get that and to be honest, when he does half of my body is cut out or I am making an awful half blinking face lol…not the look I am going for here. So, you’ve probably noticed that I’ve worked a lot with Tamara Lockwood lately, her and I went to high school together and she’s a phenomenal photographer in the GTA who also travels the world to shoot weddings…I’ve been so blessed to work with her, catch up & share a ton of laughs and have her capture some of my favourite collaborations over the past few months. Her work is flawless, airy and bright just like how I envision my content when I plan out my story boards. For featuring the BEST vacuum EVER, I wanted to show you guys the real us…if you know me personally, I am almost always in pyjamas hanging around the house with the kids. We love to lounge around in our comfies and my top knot skills are purely from experience lol…aka I sport one a lot, this is my #ootd!

I only recommend products to you guys after I know they are something I love to use, something that I trust and does the job. As a stay at home mother of 2 who also works as a full-time blogger I don’t have time to fuss over products that make life more chaotic than it already can be. With two toddlers running around wanting to help with every task I don’t want a cord trailing behind me while a vacuum, with two toddlers who want to wrap themselves around my ankles while I vacuum I do not want to be pushing one that weighs nearly 50lbs!!! This is me guys, this is exactly what it looks like when I am vacuuming, it’s the afternoon, we aren’t dressed yet…I’m probably 3 coffees deep, baking and singing the kids educational songs while also writing emails and squeezing in some house cleaning. When it’s time to clean the house I want to use a vacuum that’s easily accessible, light weight, powerful and easy to clean!!!! This thing is a dream, honestly – it’s hassle free and only weighs 5lbs, smaller than both of my kids when they were born haha! We mounted it’s docking station on the wall on the inside of the pantry right off of the kitchen and this is where it charges whenever we put it away, the battery is only being used when you are using it to vacuum and I’ve actually never ever had it die on me while vacuuming either! I know it says it has a 20 minute time fade-free suction between charges, perhaps I don’t vacuum that long when I do but I could swear that I’m doing it for an hour lol!!!! The one I have comes with 7 different attachments (that conveniently sit on the docking station), I can clean inside the couch to find all of those lost cheerios or raising, delicately vacuum my seagrass rugs without demolishing them. We can smoothly vacuum our hardwood floors, the tiled kitchen and our carpeted stairs and bedrooms!! Craig’s favourite thing about this vacuum is that he can take it out to the driveway and clean the car…with the mini attachment stiff nylon bristles remove stubborn messes from car seats and tight spaces. The centre of gravity of the vacuum is located towards the grip for easy, lightweight cleaning up top in hard to reach places and in behind furniture. I also love that with just a push of a button I can hygienically empty the bin, once again – hassle free.

I know a lot of people gasp when they learn the price of a good vacuum, my Dyson animal before this one lasted us 5 years and a family member now has it and it’s still kickin’! The only reason we gave it away was because we wanted one that was cord free and that didn’t take up a ton of space or break my already sore back when using it, after having two kids and carrying them both constantly…anything that can alleviate more strain on my back is welcome. Listen to me, I’m 28 and you are probably laughing at me saying back pain right now but child bearing back pain is no joke guys lol!!! Basically what I am saying here is that you pay for quality, Dyson also stands by the products. They have a 30 day risk free trial for this vacuum, it has a lifetime washable filter and it comes with a free 2 year warranty. Dyson was also voted the number 1 trusted vacuum cleaner by Canadian shoppers in 2015!

All Dyson cordless and robot machines are covered for 2 years parts and labour warranty. But we’ll still be here when yours runs out – we provide Dyson technology owners with a lifetime of support.

If you need to contact Dyson for advice, you’ll speak to a Dyson employee. Phone, email, live chat, Facebook, Twitter – our experts are on hand. And for out-of-hours assistance, you can find quick answers on our help pages. – Dyson

I especially love that this vacuum is light enough that I feel comfortable letting the kids help out when I quickly switch it to handheld cleaning by shortening the attachment, it makes them so happy to help me get house work done, amazing right? Who doesn’t welcome help! They may take every toy out after I’ve finished putting it away, even after what I feel are such ground breaking talks about responsibility for cleaning up our things after we use them *sigh* lol but they take vacuuming with mommy very seriously. Ella and Noah love taking out the sofa cushions and then putting them back, they love lifting the rug for me to get as far underneath as I can…they love hanging on for the ride lol, as you can see! I’m so happy Tamara captured us in our element (all the heart eyes).

Now more about this magical piece of machinery,

Whole machine HEPA filtration Dyson V6 Absolute uses patented 2 Tier Radial™ cyclones, a post motor filter and a sealed system to ensure that the air that leaves machine is cleaner than the air you breathe.

  • The Dyson V6 Absolute vacuum captures and retains more dust using patented 2 Tier Radial™ cyclones. 15 cyclones, arranged across two tiers, generate powerful centrifugal forces to spin dust and dirt out of the airflow.
Any remaining particles are captured by the post motor filter – including allergens and bacteria as small as 0.3 microns. And because the entire system is engineered to be sealed, the air that leaves the machine is cleaner than the air you breathe.

This particularily was a key feature that caught my eye, my mother who helps watch the kids has severe allergies and it’s nice to know that when I clean up before she visits I’m not going to cause her distress or that she can comfortably use the vacuum without triggering her allergies! I also love that it comes with an attachment that removes dirt and allergens from mattresses, high pile carpets and upholstery.

Powered by the Dyson digital motor V6The Dyson digital motor V6 creates the most powerful cordless vacuum.

  • The Dyson digital motor V6 creates the most powerful cordless vacuum. Dyson cordless vacuums are powered by the Dyson digital motor. This power-dense motor uses digital pulse technology and a neodymium magnet to spin at up to 110,000 times a minute. Its small size means that the machines it powers can also be small, light and powerful.

I hope that you guys enjoyed this post and learning about one of our favourite household products, it’s truly incredible how much one cleaning tool can make motherhood easier and if you are in the market for a new vacuum I hope I’ve helped your decision making. All of the opinions in this post are my own and we love our Dyson V6 Absolute Cordless vacuum, you can buy it on the Dyson website (where you can also learn more about allergens & your vacuum) or you can order it {here} on Amazon where it’s rated 4.5 stars out of 751 reviews! #LiveCordfree
