A blender, that does it all including cleaning itself? With just a drop of dish soap and warm water, the Vitamix self-cleans in 30 seconds… Are you kidding me!?! That is exactly what I was thinking when I first received my new Vitamix, I mean is it possible that this appliance can make soup, ice cream, blend my favourite smoothies and drinks, grind my coffee and more + clean itself when I’m done!? YES!!!! You’re thinking you need one of these too right? In this post we are using our new 780 Vitamix, it’s low profile so it fits inside most standard cabinets, it has a 2 litre jug and it has a responsive touch screen too – it will only respond to your touch though so don’t worry, splashes or spills it will not! We’ve used it over the past almost 6 months now to give you a solid review over a longer period of time, we’ve used it to make a variety of soups, nut butters, dressings & sauces (both hot and cold), we use it daily for smoothies. I actually grind my coffee beans inside every Sunday to make fresh coffee for the week, the smell is intoxicatingly good and a total hit when guests are over for brunch! They have machines for the homemaker and professional kitchens, I say homemaker because as you guys know I think this is a stay-at-home mama MUST HAVE! I mean, self cleaning…yes palleaaseee!!! We also tossed our old juicer and we use our Vitamix for whole-food juicing now annnddd my hairstylist and I made homemade (food based) hair masks last week!!! But those are posts for a later date, I promise ha ha. Can you tell I’m excited about this thing?? We had so much fun shooting this, we made one of our favourite smoothies with Thirsty Budha Coconut Water (also our fav) this week when our Organics Live box arrived. We simply mixed bananas, strawberries, blackberries, spinach, coconut milk, coconut water & ice. We also use the Vitamix at our Freshii franchise … it turns kale, spinach, avocado, banana and pineapple into the tastiest smoothie you’ll ever drink! 😉 My son’s favourite!! He has no idea he is drinking kale!! LOL

The thing I like about vitamix is that it really breaks down the ingredients compared to other blenders. This copper botanic would look Perfy next to our copper kitchen aid! And it would be nice to make more than one smoothie at a time with our busted up magic bullet 😉

I do smoothies everyday at least twice a day for my kiddos and for my daycare babes! The downside to this is cleaning the blender ? The self cleaning option would be an amazing feature to give me more time with the kids and less time in the kitchen!

Maybe this is boring, but I love the dependability of the Vitamix. My blender (brand not to be named) just broke again and I had replaced the busted gasket 4x before deciding enough was enough. Vitamix has such a good reputation and so much power, I’d love to have one in our home to make our whole family some nutritious smoothies and soups.
As a working mom of two busy boys “self cleaning” is music to my ears. I often find it tricky to maintain a balanced diet for myself and the family, and I’m really interested in making smoothies a part of our daily routine.

We would be lost without our Vitamix! We have had one for over 20 years and still works like day one. Definitely one of the best investments we have ever made! It has been through our nine children constantly using it everyday, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year. I use it for so many things, here a few… fruit drinks, grinding hard cheeses, nuts and seeds, grinding grain, I love the new Vitamix Pro 750 Heritage Copper Blender. It would look fantastic in my kitchen and be put to use for another 20 years or so. 🙂 I wish I could post a picture but not sure how to do it.
My mother bought a vitamixer in the 80’s when she passed away we fought over who would get the coveted vitamixer. I miss her green energy drinks and the soups she would make. I am positive it was the most used kitchen appliance at our house. My niece still uses it today. It was about around 1984 and still going strong with her 3 boys. My mom was a vegetarian for many years and made so many different amazing meals. My family had a nickname for my mom, some may find it offensive we lovingly called her “the witch doctor” she had lotions and potions for everything and took care of us using natural remedies except for the serious stuff then it was off to the Dr.

I have been desperate to get my hands on this Vitamix! I am obsessed with making soups, hummus, smoothies, slushies, and sauces and I currently use another blender and struggle with getting it to blend smoothly without getting stuck. Everyday is a struggle with lots of manual stirring, adding way more liquid than the recipe calls for as well as lots of banging and shaking! Not only would it be amazing for it to work and blend everything amazingly but the self clean feature is life changing!
I would so love to own a Vitamix blender! I am a wife, and stay at home mom to 3 little girls ages 7-10, and a toddler boy, attending college online to earn my Bachelor’s degree, and I am on a healthier lifestyle mission with a goal to be fit by 30 ( which will be in Oct). What’s not to LOVE about a Vitamix. I especially love the 39 SECOND clean up time – is there anything better than this…who has time to clean products after every use…so with the 39 SECOND clean up one can move on to other things.
Making smoothies in this fabulous machine is super easy & fast…all kinds of possibilities. Love the fact that almond milk can also be made rather than buying from the store and so much healthier.

There are so many things to love about the Vitamix! The fact that I can blend and get a smooth consistency every time is huge! Aside from how powerful it is, I love that the Vitamix is self-cleaning! If only every other appliance in my home could do the same!

This is such a beautiful kitchen necessity, inside and out! ? I have been lusting after a Vitamix for years (hoping it goes on sale!) and am so excited to see how easy and efficient it is in blending up all our smoothie, sauce, baby food, homemade delights for the whole fam. This would be incredible!
My husband loves soup and this will be perfect for me to make him soup quickly because I only have so little time on hand with our 3-month-old boy!
Trying to be healthy with a 5 month old in one arm can be tricky. I’ve been grabbing whatever is fast and quick and that sometimes isn’t the healthiest choice. The Vitamix Blender would be a great incentive to choose a healthy snack when whipping up a smoothie for myself and my family takes little to no time at all.
I have been dreaming and saving my pennies for a vitamix!!! My current crappy blender takes forever to make a smoothie as it just sucks and can’t even get through ice! I have been researching which one to replace it with for a while now and hands down vitamix comes up every time! It would be dream to win one and copper to boot!!!! It would totally go with my kitchen theme!
I need this for my daughter who is a tubie! Because of her extensive disabilities she can’t eat by mouth and so all of her food goes directly into her stomach through a tube. The food they want her to have, forever, is formula! The first ingredient is sugar! I really want to be able to give her whole foods to help her development but for them to not get clogged up in her tu ie they have to be processed through a professional quality blender such as a vitamox or a blend tec. I love that you can make both hot and cold items with the Vitamix. Soup, smoothies, ice cream, whipped cream… My sister has one and uses it daily. I would love to win one.
I love that they have a copper colour!! ( my new fav kitchen colour) and I love the fast clean!
