Out for a stroll in suburbia and I’d like to introduce you to the face I make when my son refuses to keep his shoes on when we travel and his look he shoots back when I give him heck for it lol, any other mamas have littles that insist on tossing their shoes overboard?? This collaboration is very exciting for me as it was a very pivitol moment in my mommy-hood when this stroller – strolled into my life. It made what had been a very stressful relationship with my previous stroller something of the past and helped me to enjoy outings again! The perfect stroller for your family is tough to find, if you’re like me you had to go through a couple to find it too. But when you find THE stroller you truly understand just how crucial it is, I cannot go without my Valco Baby Snap Duo. Right now it is the absolute perfect stroller for our family! It is comfortable for both our 1.5 year old and our 3.5 year old which wasn’t easy to find. If you follow along on our adventures on snapchat {roxanneawest} you would have first spotted this stroller in January, we had a flood of snaps and emails after it’s appearance. It’s now finally avaialable in Canada and I am so thrilled to be the first host of a giveaway with them!

This brand is well trusted and they know the world of strollers, they know it well. Peek-a-boo shades, perfect for checking on the littles without disturbing them, extra ventilation or to instigate a ton of giggles! I have to note here how in love I am with the tailor-made fabric series of this stroller, I am always receiving compliments on it and no matter how messy the kids get it I can stay calm knowing it can all be tossed in the wash!! Yes, I said that – no joke…remove, wash and put back clean as new! This is a great feature, I wanted a luxurious looking double stroller but I wanted one that I knew I could keep clean…check! Surprisingly I haven’t had to wash it yet, a good wipe down after some use has done the trick. Because of the “clean-fold” where when it folds the seats and fabric all protected inside it has stayed in amazing condition through 3 airport trips where luggage deliverers have tossed it on and off trolleys at the gates. We are yet to purchase a bag to put it in when it’s folded at the gate before flights but I mean really we barely get to the gate on time as it is, we woudn’t have time to even get it in one lol!

From the stitching of the tailor-made fabric on this stroller to the buttons, it’s all so high quality. A lot of people see me come through door ways and assume that since it’s a double wide that I won’t make it through the doors, I have not once struggled to get through a doorway with this stroller yet!

I really wanted to get a great bundle together of images of the usage of our Valco Baby Snap Duo Stroller, to really show you guys how it has become a big part of our family lifestyle…especially for family travel! The images above were taken this week, today actually as the sun came out for the first time in what seems like ages!!! Underneath there’s a variety of shots from our cold Springtime we are dreading yet still venturing out in and some snaps from our family vacay in Hawaii. I spoke about it in another post about how much we enjoyed our stroller for Hawaii, the kids enjoyed the fully reclining seats and napped while we had adventures. We never had to rush back home during our trip for nap time! The kids and us also love the full coverage shades, I really like giving my kids their privacy when they nap in the stroller…I for one do not like falling asleep in public and waking up covered in drool with people giggling at me and now my kids do not have to ha! It’s especially important to me that they have individual shades = no arguing! The full coverage shades of course are key for sun protection, we parked our stroller right on the beach and Noah loved hanging out in there with a book out of the hot sun. He loves this stroller so much which is such a big help, he climbs in all on his own and relaxes…what more can a mama ask?? I call it the “hub” on our trips because when we are out & about it’s their comfy spot other than in mommy or daddies arms where they can snack or relax.  How do I close the stroller you may ask? This 20lb stroller is EASY to close, with one hand I get it done! Craig jokes at times and calls me a ninja because I can have it closed or opened in less than a minute, and you’d be shocked to know that even though this is a double wide stroller it slides into the trunk of the car so smoothly. I despised packing up our last stroller, I had to break it down into 3 different pieces before loading it. I remember the day I knew I wanted a new stroller so clearly, I am sure Craig does too! I cried that day…yes, about our “other” stroller. I was at the mall with the two kids alone and I had to get to the washroom…ASAP, well my last stroller didn’t fit in even the largest of washrooms. Noah wasn’t mobile yet and Ella was VERY mobile and I pushed that damn stroller in every possible direction as if I was doing a 50 point turn…no dice! A lady in the washrooms looked at me with sympathy, you could tell she wanted to offer to watch the kids while I did my business but knew I wouldn’t allow it…I am a bubbly mama and keep them close. So, we ran…I ran out the mall, to the parking lot…packed them up and then did the usual struggle to pack up the beast of a stroller I used to own and drove home as quickly as legally possible! I made it guys don’t worry but I cried because of the stress of the entire situation and how a $1500 stroller gave me such grief when it was supposed to be the one investment I could count on to make my life more convenient with the kiddos.

I now can confidently say that I love my new stroller, I love every single detail of it! Every little thought that went into it from how light it is to how easily it glides, to the attachment possibilities and once again the tailormade fabric. But that’s what you get when you invest in a stroller from a family owned company that’s been making baby products for more than 30 years!!

It folds so compactly and as you can see from my imagery below it is super easy to carry folded up since they’ve provided carry straps and I can hold it like a duffle bag – Craig loves that feature! Dad approved guys!!! And toddler approved too I should add considering each seat can hold up to 44lbs of weight!!! Perfect for those of you like us who have a baby and a toddler that still enjoys to stroll. We weren’t ready to just get a stroller with a glider board for Ella to stand and we almost did! As you guys know we’ve brought it on 3 different trips now, this stroller is all terrain! It has been pushed through 6 airports, sand, snow, mud, water you name it! The no puncture wheels sure help of course and we are looking to get the bicycle wheel attachments for the summer. One of my favourite of many features when we picked it was the “flip-flop friendly brakes”, they take one step on either side which was great for our tropical trips so far! It has a massive storage basket underneath that is so easy to get things in and out of and it doesn’t sag so low that it drags when I stuff it full of all of our travel necessities. With the amount of stuff it takes to travel with two little ones- ok, and myself since I always overpack…the big storage basket was a must! Another thing, it manoeuvred through the airports like a dream and no airlines have given me a hard time with it…some airlines put up a fuss over double wide strollers but since this one is thinner it’s perfect! We just recently had a mini vacation with the kids in Disneyland and we used the stroller every day, we were able to keep snacks and drinks in the storage basket and kept the kids comfortable while waiting in lines or pushing through the chaotic crowds…it also made for the perfect lounger for the kids to enjoy the Disney parades & fireworks at night!

  2. Two of my closest friends are having their first baby this summer and on top of it, both of them have said yes to standing in our wedding this fall. My fiance and I are so grateful to them knowing full well they had ever right to say they would no longer be able to stand with this new little bundle of joy on the way! (Did I mention I am so extremely excited for this new arrival!?) I think the SNAP Ultra would be the perfect fit for their life right now.     Having a family of 3 kids and 2 kid of which are still in a stroller is has been a bit of a headache. Our current stroller is more of an inconvenience than a tool which should help us! We have opted out on doing things as a family because of our stroller. We have a family vacation to Disney in Spetember and this stroller would be the sprinkle of magic we need for this trip! It would be amazing to have a stroller that would make family outings enjoyable again!

  81. This is such an awesome stroller. Our family is so spread out that we are in for some frequent traveling with our new LO. We also live in a bit of more urban area and I find my current stroller is just too heavy to fold/unfold all the time that I end up carrying the baby most of the time. I’m expecting my second child this June, and with my first being a tall 2.5 year old toddler, she just doesn’t seem comfortable in any other stroller I put her in. The stroller anxiety I have been experiencing lately as to which double to invest in is driving me crazy, but the Snap Duo seems to fulfill what I am looking for! My longest kept so far is twin mode valco for 4years.. That time When my husband and I was working. Now since he is undergo treatment for his cancer, we sold everything we have. I even moved on to all my stroller collections and keep one and only my umbrella stroller and let my 3y/o walking..

  201. Would love the snap duo. Since baby number two I’ve always wanted a side-by-side reversible stroller but they’re so expensive! Had to settle for the other type and since then feel like I’m pushing a bus every time I use it – so heavy and so difficult to manoeuvre. It’s hard to shop with them and visit places altogether. So often i have to back up and readjust the steering to make it through the isles. Plus, it takes up all the trunk space! On baby number 3 now and I’d love this side-by-side 🙂

We used in once before the winter, pulled it out 2 weeks ago and the one front wheel is stuck sideways and will no longer swivel. Called the manufacturer and apparently this is a common problem because it’s going to take at least 90 days to get new ones due to the huge backorder! Ugh. With 5 kids we just can’t swing spending another $300 on a stroller while we wait a minimum of 3 months for new wheels. Winning one of these strollers would be like winning the lottery!

    I am much more likely to stack my poor toddler and 6m old in the big single stroller than deal with the super long – not to mention, broken-handled – double. And, while they are so good-natured about it, it’s not going to work for much longer.

I’ve always want to have this kind of stroller since before giving birth to my 3yo as I want my them to experience comfort when in their stroller, however financial situation forbids me to. This would help me a lot as I am the only taking care of my kids as my spouse works round the clock and doing grocery alone with this playful kids are so hard. Having the snap duo, it will make my grocery a lot easier as well as our morning and afternoon walk as it is hard to do it using two strollers. And I always have to wait for my spouse’s day off before I can take the kids out for a walk.   433. As a new twin mum, I am in need of a more portable double stroller; it would make taking my littles with me a lot easier especially those days I am by myself and want to go out. The Snap Duo would make a world of a difference in our outings and it’s so important for us to get out after this long winter inside!
    It seems to have such great features; we have an old handed down Valco Tri Mode but sadly can’t fit it in our SUV with two babies and a dog in the back. This would do the trick for us as we are away visiting family almost every weekend with all the baby gear we bring along. How exciting would it be to be able to take a stroller that can handle the elements with us instead of wishing we could pack it up with the rest of our family in tow and it just sitting in our garage all weekend! Being able to put it in the car without someone else’s help packing it up would be more than amazing. Getting through standard doors is more important than one would think (one thing Valco has got right with their other strollers too). As someone who has used a Valco stroller I’m impressed Valco baby is on the ball with these common issues, makes having twins a bit easier on those days you need it!
