Beaded Chandelier | Faux Peonies | Brass Wall Clock | Cowhide Rug | Storage Ottoman | Wall Art | Mirrored Sideboard | Decorative Ladder

Pinch me..I am dreamily typing this post just so full of excitement that I may still have goosebumps that have lasted since the second I knew this feature was coming about! We’ve partnered up with Joss & Main and in the coming months we will be sharing a bedroom makeover series with all of you!!! We cannot WAIT to completely re do our master bedroom with Joss & Main and share the fun DIY’s we have planned for the space and all the details (even any hiccups that may come our way). I’m pretty sure this is Craigs favourite one of my jobs yet, this is SO the kind of stuff he loves! e As you can see I’ve put together a little ensemble of my inspiration pieces from the Joss & Main website to give you guys a peek at what I have in mind, I’ve also attached some of my top inspirational images that are in line with my vision for the space. I am still trying to decide on a fun hashtag to help you all follow along on my social media channels so if you have any ideas I’d love to hear them, just leave a comment in the comment section below! You can also check out more inspirations for the makeover on a Pinterest board Ashley and I are pinning to along the way {here}. Make sure to join us on this fun series, we just may have a special Joss & Main giveaway in store for our readers during the series! I will be counting on my friend Ashley over at Ashley Davidson Design to help me out with the final touches of the space as she is always my go-to for interior design advice!  She knows how indecisive and nutty I am about my spaces, she gets my vision and she has a great eye for design- we have late night texting convos all too often about ideas for this space and projects to come. Check out her instagram here!

I’ve attached some of my top inspirations for our bedroom below xo

I am in LOVE with the entire look above, down to the finest detail I tell you. The wood accent wall in the master bath and that sharp herringbone shower tile, the stand alone tub. The white brick accent wall in the bedroom paired with the beautiful hues of blues & neutrals, that oh-so-comfy window and the seagrass rug…and of course the fiddle leaf fig! Anyone who knows me knows that I have a love for greenery in my home, we have 5 fiddle leaf figs now all with a growth pattern and direction of their own (literally)!! I am also SO in love with the beautifully exposed wood beams on the ceiling and the canopy bed, ever since I can remember I’ve been drawn to canopy beds – there is something nostalgic and romantic about them to me. We are also big fans of jute rugs in our home as they hold their own in high traffic areas and the kids spills don’t destroy them!

I am a big fan of beige and creamy linen upholstered headboards right now, preferably wingbacks! We are planning on adding sharp white wainscoting around the entire room and I’d love a nice speckled light beige linen headboard to pop in the centre of the room.  I’ve always been attracted to warmer tones like hues of gold & brass mixed with neutrals and pastels and I am totally digging the vintage wordly vibe in this room.

This entire home feature had me speachless, exactly as the writer said. I couldn’t even think straight all I did was pin, pin and pin some more! Everything about this room speaks to me, the ceiling as you may have gathered is my favourite “look”. The layers of bedding & textures and heaps of pillows just speak warm & cozy.  I’ve pulled some big time inspo from this room!

This calming space had Craig’s favourite wainscotting, we love the work around the two windows and plan to do something similar in our makeover with the help of METRIE. The one wall of our bedroom looks just like this with two similar windows however our bed won’t be on that wall and we won’t be doing our scotting as high but even the colouring of this space is very much how I am envisioning the space! These table lamps are my all time favourite, I love natural wood lamps. I also really love the ledge she has used in this shot for displaying art, I still haven’t committed to what we will put above our headboard…it’s a big decision! I love this nice clean look. In the post Jillian shows the evolution of her bedroom in 3 different stages and this one is my favourite of them all, I love a soft blue wall. Check out Jillian’s Instagram {here} for more beautiful interior design inspirations, especially from her show Love it or List it Vancouver!

Did this photo above just stop you in your tracks (or scrolling)!?! I’m pretty sure my heart stopped when I saw these beautiful babies!!!! We have teamed up with Metrie on the bedroom makeover to make trim work magic and these doors by Metrie are BIG TIME inspo for me!!!! Not just the colouring but every thing about them, especially the hardware in the middle!! I think my use of exclamation marks in this post gives away my excitement to be working with them and Craig is equally excited, he loves getting creative in this department. Check out Metrie here, their moulding & interior finishings are gorgeous. Both of these stunning rooms above designed in a beach house makeover get my creative juices flowing, they really encourage that part of me that wants to mix two styles together! I love the comfy cozy look but I can also appreciate some fantastic modern pieces. If you haven’t figured it out yet I seem to appreciate the coastal neutral colour palettes with the beiges, whites, blues & golds – you can expect to find these in our bedroom makeover. You will love the entire makeover in her post, the house is absolutely stunning – the swoon worthy kitchen and all of its details keep me up at night! Source: Becki Owens – beach house
Source: Pinterest – I am in love with the oversized sheepskin rug, the perfect thing to wiggle your toes on when climbing out of bed in the crisp, cool morning. I am equally in love with the massive pendant chandelier and the white wash wood panel ceiling- Craig really wants to do this on our bedroom ceiling for the makeover and I am on the fence about it!

LOVING all of the creamy neutrals in this space, the ruffled bed skirt is such a sweet touch and the two tone ceiling is something Craig and I are both super fond of. This home is one of my hidden gems and you better bet your ass we will be renting in within the next year, I am obsessed with the decor in the spaces and I just want to Instagram the crap out of it (excuse my French).

I hope you’ve enjoyed my inspiration post for the makeover, we are looking forward to sharing the series with you! xo

This series is in partnership with Joss & Main – all opinions are my own.
