I thought it would be best to resurface this post for the giveaway from a couple of weeks ago, I haven’t share it as much as I should and it was one of my favourite collaborations. It was so fun to style with these beautiful chocolates and Ferrero Rocher is giving one lucky winner one of their Limited Edition chocolate towers made up of 96 ferreros!!!! This thing is massive guys, I got one in the mail and opened it on Snapchat if you were following along. Now how do I stop Craig from eating ours before the week is up? If you’re anything like us you have a special dessert around the holidays that you look forward to, I mean you can get these chocolates all year round but both Craig and I are huge Ferrero Rocher fans! It must have been genetic since Ella showed us just how much she loved them too with an adorable face full of chocolate the second she got her hands on one! Craig’s Christmas stocking is always full of these things and we eat them all up well before the day is done. When we were contacted to work with Ferrero Rocher this year it was a no-brainer, the perfect feature for us! Okay back to chocolate…these chocolates are my perfect dessert to play with – I can’t wait to try a Ferrero Rocher cake recipe I found on Pinterest last month and we made some fun desserts you will see in the images above. We did a light & airy layered dessert with graham cracker, cinnamon chocolate mousse+ whipped cream! The opportunities are truly endless to display these and you can find so many creative recipes online to try too (sigh- Pinterest you sleep depriver you!). You all know I love gold, like LOOOOVVVEEE gold so creating an evening tablescape with Ferrero and the decor items I chose were super exciting. These are the images of us preparing our evening with Ferrero Rocher. I found these fabulous antlers at Homesense and pulled some floral balls from my wedding decor to play around and it came together perfectly with some vintage dinnerware and chargers. All that’s left to add is some gold cutlery, a hearty meal, lighting the candles and some vino! Ferrero Rocher has been a longtime holiday tradition in my family. Every Christmas my grandmother would make table centrepieces with scrumptious Ferrero Rocher gems! Now that I have my own family, I’m carrying on the “Ferrero Rocher” family tradition! My table centrepieces may look a little different each Christmas but it’s the same delicious taste ( and fond memories) every year!
