We Heart Watermelons & Teepees

On rainy days we take our fun indoors and teepees have always been a staple in our house since Ella was little, they are such fun spaces to let imaginations run wild. They make perfect reading nooks, and they make a room look super cool right? Craig and Ella hangout in this one often and I watch them share the cutest moments reading books and she tells daddy all about her day. These ones are a perfect size for a few kiddos to enjoy! Teepeetot has some awesome prints including a black and white striped one here, it’s easy to find one to suit the decor vibe of your home and surprisingly easy to store as well.  Ours has a window and pockets inside to hold her favourite books, and recently I painted the tops of our dowels white to switch things up a bit. Teepees make perfect features to nurseries or parties, recently I hosted my best friends baby shower and used this teepee for all of her gifts (will post photos to the blog after the wedding) and I plan to use it for Noah’s first birthday as well since it will be camping themed! You can save $20 this week on a teepee with the code ‘TEEPEETOT20’ . Watermelon is also a staple in this house, I don’t know if I told you about Craig’s love (what I call obsession) for watermelon ha, he eats it every day…half of one to himself!!! Well his love was passed on, and of course Ella has not let her new rug or blanket get very far. These pieces are hand made guys, there are some incredibly talented people out there making gorgeous items right from their homes and I hope to keep sharing these amazing shops with you! These photos were taken with my new Canon camera, I am still learning how to use it and loving every minute of it. Make sure to checkout their Baby Moments App to learn how to capture your moments perfectly with step by step guides.
