#wedding wednesdays

During the fun of this wedding prep time I was lucky enough to meet the owner of Paloma Blanca Bridal, a genuine and charismatic man stands proudly behind this Canadian based bridal line and speaks about his staff as if they are his family. As I was given a tour of the home base of the business I was greeted with smiles by the entire team from every facet of the creating a bridal gown. From the design room to the fabrication, every one was happy and passionate about where they work. Experiencing the world behind Paloma Blanca Bridal was nothing short of amazing and I played dress up in their gorgeous Fall 2015 lines before this interview (head totally in the clouds).

I have been DYING to show you this video but at the same time I have been super nervous, I haven’t done video in a very long time …since New Zealand in the fashion industry, which was 7 years ago guys so please take it easy on me and my nervous facial expressions!
And so the secret is finally out, Paloma Blanca Bridal and their line Mikaella will be gracing our blog for the next month and boy do I have some fabulous posts for you all. This brand is incredible and full of love by the incredible team behind it. Thanks to my lovely consultants at Kleinfelds I learned about this deeply rooted Canadian bridal company. I had such a difficult time picking my dress from their two lines only because I LOVED every dress!! I mean would it be crazy to wear 3, 4 or 10 on your wedding day? No, no I am kidding with you guys, I picked one dress and I am head over wedding heels in love with it! I wasn’t sure after having 2 littles if I would slide into a dress and fall in love, my body is forever changed and after our second I have been struggling to really accept and be proud of these changes this time around. I’m working on it but my point here is that the dress I picked at Kleinfelds, I love it to bits…it had me at hello, hands down ‘the one’! So here is the first video from our #weddingwednesdays sequence and also the first video of the vlogging world I am entering into (cue 50 first dates Hawaiian happy dance), we will be launching our YouTube channel soon. I hope you all enjoy this interview with the head designer Elsa at Paloma Blanca Bridal as much as I enjoyed interviewing her, she is an incredibly sweet woman with a ton of talent. She was equally full of nerves which made for some belly filled laughs between us all. I will be posting the photos that pair with this video later next week but I won’t be revealing the dress I picked for our wedding day until day of. In the coming Wednesdays I will be sharing interviews with other fabulous local companies we are working with on our wedding day…17 days guys!!!! xo
