The Colours of summer

Bursting! I forgot just how adorable these shots were when Allison first sent them to me and what a perfect time to post. We have all been sick since the weekend here and are just starting to re cooperate, boy summer colds are awful. Summer is meant for crystal clear pools, baby faces full of watermelon and sunscreen, bandaids, giggles and the smell of fresh cut grass…not colds! Craig and I were just talking about it last night how I never ever got sick until after having Ella, and especially this pregnancy – this is my third cold!?!?! These photos sure do cheer me up however, I love this backyard so darn much and the hammock shots of Craig and Ella pull so strongly at my heart strings. I cannot wait to see him holding our two little ones which could be so so very soon! I had Ella a little over 37 weeks so I am counting down as if it could happen again…meaning it could just be 9 weeks to go (yikes)!

I am absolutely in love with Ella’s outfit in this post, this precious sun hat that Ella is wearing lasted about two weeks however…she threw it in the pool and of course its days were over. On another note, how precious are those leggings???? I love Dandy Lion Co leggings, and she still has so much time to get use out of these as the sizes are so giving. I am also loving this maternity knit sweater courtesy of Pink Blush Maternity, I know it will get great use next summer sans bump as well. Now that our family isn’t stuck in bed cuddling each others ever so feverish skin I am hoping for a weekend full of sunshine, laughter and memories to last forever for every one xo
