They dont make em’ like this anymore

Every one has a favourite time in fashion, some love the Boho 70s while others love the fabulous 20s. Myself, I am undeniably and head over heels in love with the 50s. There is something about that time in fashion that captures me in every way, it is so feminine and tailored – just like this stunning skirt by Candian designer Trisha Pasnak. Every detail in this piece is made with love, you can see it and feel it. When wearing it I felt enchanted, this skirt will be passed down to my daughter one day as I know it will stand the test of time! I made the unfortunate mistake once of going through my mothers closet in my teens telling her that 90% of her items were out dated and simply “had to go”, well I am still kicking myself in the butt for it as each and every item I swoon over in designer collections or strutting the runways with big $$$ signs, she owned!!! And better yet, they would be vintage now *sigh*, I absolutely LOVE vintage pieces and how I scorn myself for missing out on them now had I of had more sense years ago. As you will see our little sweetheart Ella has joined in on the fashion fun, it was so thrilling having her contagious, ear-to-ear grins with us for the shoot. Our lovely friend Amanda came to help us out in between pictures and keep Ella company- we are so lucky to have such amazing friends that are always here to help and love our girl.
